The story behind
In the jungle, when the drought became unbearable, Hathi the wild elephant declared a water truce. No animal that drank from the river could be attacked there. Rudyard Kipling may well have imagined this mare and her foal quenching their thirst, in the delicate, colorful style of Daiske Nomura. In the mirror of these transparent waters, will we be able to see our own reflection and hope for an infinite truce?
