Un Jardin sur le Toit Eau de toilette
CREATION
Un Jardin sur le Toit eau de toilette tells of a hidden garden in the heart of Paris: a square of nature nestled on Hermès' rooftop at 24 Rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honore. Created by perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena in 2011, this fragrance pays homage to this garden of delight and celebration.
OLFACTORY NOTES
Fruity and vegetal, Un Jardin sur le Toit eau de toilette unleashes the scent of a crisp apple tree into the Paris air, mingled with notes of juicy pear tree.
THE OBJECT
Designed by Fred Rawyler, the bottle is inspired by the lines of horse-drawn carriage lanterns. Its glass is a bright, vibrant and luminous green. Philippe Dumas, a member of the Hermès family, created the illustration on the box, depicting this garden and its stunning view of the city.

Another way to wear fragrance with Un Jardin sur le Toit.
“A garden that answers to no-one, a cheerful garden, watered with light.” Jean-Claude Ellena
Un Jardin sur le Toit is a lively, edgy novella. This fragrance describes a secret garden, hidden in the heart of the city, in Paris. A hanging garden, perched on the rooftop of Hermès building at 24 Faubourg Saint-Honoré.
An apple tree, a pear tree, a magnolia flourish in the Paris air, along with a few self-seeded imposters, all making up this scent of light and pleasure, enticing and full of laughter.
Olfactory strolls through the different annual themes of the house, the Les Jardins fragrances attest to genuine encounters between the Hermès spirit, the soul of a place and the perfumer-composer.
