The story behind
The sabretache, a flat leather bag attached to the belt beside cavalry officers' sabers, disappeared from their uniforms in 1870. Thanks to the albums in the Émile Hermès collection and the talent of Joachim Metz, sabretaches adorn this scarf, which is now two-tone, with pompoms and imperial guard epaulettes in a graphic and historical tribute.
