The story behind

This design by Cyrille Diatkine tells the story of a House that is always in the making and constantly evolving, but that has never forgotten its roots. The Faubourg Saint-Honoré store is the very heart of Hermès, the source of its creations and the guardian of its past. Designed to give the illusion of saddle-stitching, a technique used by the House's leather craftsmen, the lines create a kinetic work of art, with striking depth and a sense of speed. Despite its suggestive treatment, you can clearly recognize the building and its corner façade, the bow of the flagship and the vanishing lines projected towards the future.
