The story behind
Inspired by an album from the Émile Hermès collection devoted to 19th-century uniforms, Caty Latham designed the Brandebourgs scarf embellished with embroidery and elaborate trimmings in 1972. For this third-millennium redesign, Daiske Nomura takes on the role of a tailor, deconstructing and accessorizing the traditional uniform to make it fit his favorite anime heroes. Mega-sonic, ultra-metallic, and truly high-tech... he's even added a screen to help keep track of his horse—how lucky!
