The story behind
Like two dragonflies with broad wings, these carriages look so light that they could take off at any moment. Often used by women, these horse-drawn cabriolets adorned with wicker cane work could reach pinnacles of elegance. They accompanied their owners on stylish rides through the city and along tree-lined avenues in fair weather. This scarf design by Françoise de la Perriere dates from 1965 to illustrate travel and movement: two subjects close to Hermès' heart that continue to have pride of place on this triangle adaptation.
