The story behind

Studio Anamorphee has designed an anamorphosis… The designers' collective founded by Charlotte Halpern and Bertrand Houdin has taken the image of the famous building at rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore, where Hermès first opened its doors in 1837, and stretched it out diagonally in the style of the optical illusions so beloved of 16th-century scholars. Behind the delicate composition of colorful bands that intertwine to create geometric and graphic effects, the lines of the building appear, with its arches opening onto the street. Accentuated with vibrant colors, you can also spot the cavalryman astride his horse at the corner of the roof garden, on top of the building.
