The story behind

In 1937, Robert Dumas travelled along the coast of Normandy. Keenly observant, he was struck by the purity and elegance of the links in the chain that attaches a boat to its anchor. He immediately drew a sketch of it in his travel notebook and the Chaine d'Ancre bracelet was born. This iconic Hermès design is what inspired Mathieu Cosse to create "Escale a la Plage", which depicts an anchor chain lying on the sand, catching the light at different times of the day. Three new bright colors are presented this season.
