- This jacquard woven plaid uses the cut-yarn technique, which consists of integrating an additional color into the weave. The threads of this color are then cut out on the back side of the plaid. With this technique, more colors can be added into the weave.

The story behind
"Cheval Orizaba" represents a horse with the sleek, graphic lines of the Mexican artist Miguel Castro. This cubist version of the animal is crafted using the cut yarn weaving jacquard. This know-how involves incorporating an additional weft into the weave. The floating threads are then cut and reveal the technique. These extra threads enhance the blanket's color palette, making it more textured and lavish.
