The story behind

Gianpaolo Pagni's “Lithographie Equestre” card game design features both real and imaginary rulers, most of them on horseback. This time, the artist's “Cheval Jocker” design honors the steeds. Drawing on the codes of playing cards and their double-sided reading, two horse heads come together with a set of graphic shapes and solid colors printed using a stamp.
