The story behind
The Bolide case follows in the footsteps of the Bolide bag, which was designed in 1923 for seasoned drivers and long-distance travelers. It could slip effortlessly into any car boot. The zip fastener, brought back from America by Emile Hermès in the late 1910s, gives the piece its legendary round-edged shape, providing quick access to its contents. Inspired by the bag, the historic model of the Bolide case comes this season in H canvas with Tristan Bonnemain's "Crazy H" design, which is reminiscent of the old records of jockey helmets and horse plaids from the Hermès shop at Faubourg Saint-Honore.
