Bel Ami Eau de toilette
CREATION
An allusion to Guy de Maupassant's eponymous novel, Bel Ami eau de toilette celebrates the authenticity of leather. This composition created in 1986 by perfumer Jean-Louis Sieuzac interprets this material with equal proportions of opulence and character.
OLFACTORY NOTES
A leathery, woody fragrance, Bel Ami eau de toilette is a confident and bold encounter between bewitching patchouli, rich leather and sensual cistus ladanifer.
THE OBJECT
The bottle, inspired by the lanterns of horse-drawn carriages, has a black cap reminiscent of a riding hat. The back label is illustrated with a design by Philippe Dumas, indicating that it belongs to the Parfums-Fondateurs collection.
